Advice from Transition Town Worthing Community Energy Local is available by appointment.
Community Energy Local (CEL) is a community based social enterprise, founded and supported by Transition Town Worthing, to reduce energy consumption and bills for local people. The CEL energy advisor will be available via appointment to advise you how to save money on your gas and electricity bills and how to be more energy-wise.
Did you know you could be paying significantly more for your gas and electricity than you need to?
Is worry over the cost of fuel bills leading you to turn your heating down to uncomfortable levels; is the cold affecting your health?
Are you a loyal customer to your energy company? Unfortunately, in the current energy market customer loyalty is rarely rewarded and it pays to shop around. Are you aware of the Priority Services Register offering priority reconnection to the vulnerable in the event of a supply outage, or the Warm Home Discount offering a £140 rebate on winter fuel bills for qualifying households?
Community Energy Local (part of Transition Town Worthing) offers free impartial advice to the local community, including a tariff comparison and switching service, and eligibility check for further assistance – currently funded by Tesco through their Bags of Help scheme.
Just bring your latest energy bill for a chat about ways in which you could save money, access further assistance and cut your carbon emissions.
